At K-Town Pit Que, we don’t just practice BBQ—we turn it into a neighborhood sport. Every two weeks from October through March, we’re running full-blown competition cooks to keep our pit skills sharp. And here’s the twist: when we practice, YOU win.
Here’s the deal:
We cook up a KCBS-style turn-in box—exactly what the judges see at a real competition.
You toss your name in the hat. If it’s drawn, you get the box. Boom—free BBQ that tastes like glory.
If a buddy drops your email in the referral box, you score a second entry. Double the chance, double the meat.
All we ask? When you win, you play judge. We’ll hand you the official BBQ feedback form and rubric—just like the pros use. You get to chow down and then tell us what you think. Brisk honesty required (sauce-covered fingers optional).
That’s 14 chances from October to March to eat like a BBQ judge without ever leaving your neighborhood.

📝 The Fine Print
We alternate cooks: one week it’s chicken, the next it’s ribs, back and forth until March.
Delivery must be within 15 miles of Kensington, MD 20895. No exceptions unless you bribe us with a lake house.
Enter as many times as you like, but entries reset after each drawing. Clean slate, clean smoke.
Winners will be contacted by email and must confirm within 3 days to claim the prize. Miss the window and we’ll pick another lucky carnivore.
Feedback is required. Winners will get a judging rubric to fill out—because even free BBQ comes with homework.
Food is provided as is. We’re pros, but this is practice—not DoorDash.
We can’t accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies. This is BBQ, not a salad bar.
